At PenniesfromHeavenMissions, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those in need. Through our donations and volunteer work, we strive to bring hope and support to orphanages in Ghana and shelters in Wilson NC. We also believe in eco tourism. Ecotourism is a form of nature-oriented tourism that emphasizes responsible travel to natural areas with a focus on conserving the environment, benefiting local communities, and providing education for travelers. It aims to minimize negative environmental impacts and enhance the well-being of local people while fostering an appreciation for nature and culture.
​Our mission is to foster a transformative journey through Ghana, where cultural immersion and historical understanding are at the forefront. We aim to connect with the heart of Ghana by visiting its historical monuments, which tell a powerful story of resilience and heritage. Our journey will also include meaningful engagement with local communities through visits to orphanages, supporting and learning from their vital work. We will gain a deeper appreciation for the country's economic and creative landscape by exploring local beaches, vibrant markets, and experiencing firsthand the craftsmanship of Ghanaian industries, including shea butter manufacturing and cocoa processing plants. Through responsible and respectful tourism, we seek to create a lasting, positive impact on both our travelers and the communities we visit, promoting cross-cultural understanding and a shared global humanity.
